  Born and raised in New Jersey, Dr. Niti Mistry attended Rutgers College in New Brunswick, NJ where she received a Bachelors in Biochemistry.  

After working for 2 years at Hoffmann La Roche in research and development, she decided to pivot and go back to school. 

She received her Doctorate in Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry, now called Salus University.  

She completed a residency in low vision and ocular disease from SUNY College of Optometry and is also a Diplomate with the American Board of Optometry.
